Global Civic Consulting is an international consulting firm working in the fields of civic engagement and education. This particular assignment will focus on our client, the Lazord Foundation, which supports the design, implementation, and development of experiential and educational programs for young professionals in the Arab and Mediterranean region.

Purpose of the internship:

Develop an online strategy to best represent and promote the Lazord Fellowship. The strategy will include platforms to be used, templates for posts, frequency and a schedule. The strategy will be developed following the recommendations of the Lazord chapters and under the supervision of the Lazord Foundation. 

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in consultation with Lazord chapters to assess existing marketing efforts and suggest recommendations while taking into account branding or administrative requirements, and suggest recommendations;
  • Create an effective marketing strategy and compile a comprehensive folder with all the needed elements/material; 
  • Design marketing templates to be easily used by the Foundation and its partners;
  • Decide which platforms are most effective to use; determine the best use for each platform considering the various target audiences;
  • Work on strengthening the marketing messages/material on our Lazord website and work with our web developer to upload relevant content (ie: reports, videos, etc); 
  • Participate in the development of a private webpage for educational and community development resources for Lazord alumni and chapters to access (the Lazord Fellowship internal portal).

Requriements:

  • Collaborative and consultative mindset;
  • Good judgement and self starter;
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms;
  • Ability to design supports including videos;
  • Fluent in English, especially written. Knowledge of Arabic, Greek or French is a plus.

Time frame:

The Internship will be 2 to 3 months long. Remote position but must be available during GMT+2 regular working hours. Small compensation based on experience and country of residence.
