The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is seeking a highly motivated Hate Prevention Intern passionate about social and racial justice. This fully remote internship offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful research aimed at countering white supremacy and advancing human rights.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct research, data analysis, and writing to support SPLC’s Intelligence Project Research team.
- Draft research memos, fact sheets, and reports.
- Monitor news and secondary sources for relevant updates.
- Identify key resources and insights to strengthen SPLC’s research strategy.
- Uphold SPLC’s commitment to justice by highlighting underserved communities in policy research.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college/university or a graduate program.
- Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
Compensation & Work Schedule
- Pay: $17.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, with possible overtime.
- Schedule: Flexible hours with some required daytime meetings.
- Start Date: June 3, 2025 (10-week minimum commitment).
