Manager – Master Brand

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute campaigns to drive brand preference and product adoption for MTN’s VAS/MFS and promotions.
  • Manage the strategic framework for VAS, MFS, and promotional campaigns.
  • Plan rollout strategies and route-to-market initiatives for promotions.
  • Oversee brand equity and affinity-growing projects with VAS and Proposition managers.
  • Conceptualize consumer acquisition and usage promotions with VAS managers.
  • Leverage MTNF initiatives to enhance brand equity through digital activities.
  • Provide brand support to HR, Network Group, IS, and CR teams.
  • Supervise and manage advertising agencies and creative material production.
  • Ensure visibility of VAS promotions and MFS campaigns nationwide using digital and traditional advertising.
  • Manage documentation and agency coordination, including contracts and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with MTN brand CI rules across all branding materials.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Economics, or a related social science field.
  • An MBA is an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification from CIM or a marketing-related body.
  • Member of NIM (Nigerian Institute of Marketing).
  • Fluent in English.

Experience:

  • 6–13 years’ experience, including:
    • Minimum of 3 years in a specialized area with supervisory experience.
    • Brand management experience in marketing or advertising.
    • Experience in brand strategy, positioning, and communication.
    • Strong marketing communication skills.
    • Stakeholder management experience.
    • Experience in FMCG or telecommunications markets.

General Manager – Enterprise Marketing

  • Develop market research programs with MTNN Business Intelligence to enhance customer and sales insights.
