We are seeking a Remote E-Commerce Operations & Customer Service Assistant to optimize daily operations, coordinate with our 3PL provider, and ensure seamless order processing. This role also involves providing exceptional customer support via email. Availability during morning hours (EST) is required.
Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Communicate with 3PL partners to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track inventory and flag potential stock issues
- Manage order modifications, refunds, and chargebacks
- Assist with operational reporting and process improvements
- Support logistics and supply chain tasks as needed
- Ensure workflows align with company objectives and customer expectations
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via email
- Handle pre-orders, order statuses, returns, and exchanges professionally
- Coordinate with warehouses and logistics partners for customer-related concerns
- Maintain clear, proactive communication to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements:
- Experience with Shopify and e-commerce operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication with warehouses, customer service teams, and customers
- Background in supply chain or logistics coordination is a plus
- Customer service experience, particularly via email, is highly preferred
- Ability to identify and improve operational inefficiencies
- Must be available during morning hours (EST)
