About Heard

Heard is dedicated to helping therapists build successful private practices by streamlining tax, accounting, and financial management. Our all-in-one financial back-office allows therapists to focus on their clients while we handle the rest. Our sales team plays a vital role in driving growth by showing therapists how Heard can transform their practice.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Remote Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding sales team. As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective therapists, identifying and qualifying leads before passing them to our Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs). You’ll collaborate with two ISRs to build a strong pipeline, engage potential customers, and create high-quality opportunities that lead to successful conversions.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect & Qualify: Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage prospective therapists.
  • Lead Nurturing: Identify therapists who are a strong fit for Heard’s services and guide them through the sales funnel.
  • Set Up Sales Calls: Schedule high-quality consults for the ISR team by understanding prospects’ needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with ISRs: Work closely with ISRs to strategize outreach and maximize conversions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, tracking prospect interactions and next steps.
  • Sales Enablement: Utilize sales scripts, case studies, and value-based messaging to drive engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or a service-based sales environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume outreach and follow-ups.
  • Comfortable working in a CRM (HubSpot experience is a plus).
  • Coachability and a growth mindset.
