We are an established recruitment company serving the UK market with over 10 years of experience and a growing global team. We are now looking for a Part-Time IT Support Specialist (Work from Home) to join the team and support our strong growth plans. There is the opportunity for growth in this role in the future.
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will receive training and support to perform the following responsibilities while rendering 5-10 hours per week:
- Resolving IT support requests from employees in a timely manner
- Answering employee questions regarding computer systems, software, and network issues
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with hardware, software, and IT systems
- Changing configurations, settings, and permissions to fix technical issues
- Generating sign-ins and access credentials for new hires during the onboarding process
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- Updating employees on the status of their service requests
- Logging and maintaining records of service requests and troubleshooting steps
- Assisting with basic cybersecurity measures and ensuring data security best practices
- Managing the company’s IT environment, including monitoring system performance
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently
- Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple IT requests effectively
- Observational skills to identify potential IT risks and inefficiencies
- Customer service skills to support employees with IT-related concerns
- Experience with Microsoft 365, remote access tools, and cloud-based systems is preferred
- Knowledge of basic networking and cybersecurity best practices is a plus
You must be able to provide suitable references and be available to work during UK business hours.
