Job Overview
As a Contact Center Specialist, you will establish professional relationships with members, focusing on meeting their financial needs while promoting TwinStar Credit Union’s products and services. This role involves assisting members through phone interactions and acting as a liaison between them and the credit union. Your responsibilities will align with our commitment to providing exceptional service while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome members in a courteous, professional manner via phone.
- Process member transactions such as withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, and money transfers.
- Address inquiries about statements, share withdrawals, and loan payoffs.
- Provide technical support for online banking services, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Ensure member security by following fraud detection protocols and processing high-risk transactions.
- Identify sales opportunities by understanding member needs and recommending appropriate products or services.
- Meet production goals and participate in sales initiatives by educating members on product benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in sales or customer service.
- Preferred: Experience in a contact center or financial institution.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and competitor offerings.
- Proficient in resolving member issues courteously while managing difficult interactions.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build positive relationships.
- Capability to cross-sell financial products effectively.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Range: $19.73 – $29.59 (plus an additional $2.00/hour for bilingual skills upon verification).
- Compensation Determination: Based on experience, skills, education, or training.
