Job Description
The Technical Services Engineer (Powerplant) will manage and monitor Air Peace engines and APUs to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effective operations. This role focuses on maintaining the airworthiness of engines and APUs, contributing to the airline’s operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous Airworthiness:
- Monitor mandatory modifications and Airworthiness Directives.
- Review and communicate Engine/APU overhaul work scope with MRO entities.
- Analyze engine conditions using ECM, EHM, and fleet management tools.
- Prepare Engineering Orders based on OEM data and industry information.
- Technical Support:
- Liaise between OEM and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Review Engine/APU spares and communicate needs to Supply Chain.
- Assist with engine and APU invoices and discrepancies.
- Provide support to line and base maintenance teams.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality policies.
- Support audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in reliability meetings and root cause analyses.
- Contribute to the evaluation of the Maintenance Program.
- Close audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in safety drills and report hazards.
- Support and Coordination:
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Monitor engine trends and provide improvement suggestions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aeronautic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in CAMO, specifically in Powerplant technical services.
- Proficiency in MS Office and aviation regulations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with occasional travel.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
